The Department of Economics is seeking to appoint a professional, dynamic and effective individual to the role of Executive Assistant to the Head of Department (HOD) and the Head of Administration and Finance (HAF) in one of the largest and most diverse groups of academic economists in Europe.

In this high-profile role, you will manage the diaries of the HOD and HAF, act as a conduit on their behalf to ensure high priority matters are communicated quickly and accurately, co-ordinate all departmental matters in line with local procedures and University regulations, and service departmental committees.

With impeccable organisation and communication skills, initiative, and success in prioritising a varied and busy workload, you will have demonstrable experience in providing first class, proactive support to senior leaders as a proactive and independent PA or EA.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to work with departmental leadership and contribute to devising and improving administrative systems and procedures and assist with key project work undertaken by the HOD and HAF on behalf of the department, division, and university.
