Student Services is a diverse group of services, providing the very best student experience is at the heart of everything we do. We have an exciting opportunity to join us as part of our new Student Engagement Team.
Reporting to our Student Events and Communities Lead, the successful postholder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of ‘Super Graduation’, a three-day event at St. Mary’s Stadium celebrating our class of 2020, 2021 and 2022, and future Graduation as well as key high-profile events throughout the academic year that recognise the achievements of our students. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of events which create a sense of belonging and proactively engage our students as proud members of our community.
What we are looking for
Skill level equivalent to the achievement of HNC, A-Level, NVQ3 or basic professional qualification related to events management is also an essential requirement for the role. A Degree and experience of university would be desirable.
Some of our student events will be delivered outside of core working hours, therefore you will need to be willing to demonstrate some flexibility in your working hours. If you thrive on variety and are comfortable juggling a broad range of responsibilities, then we would very much like to hear from you.
What we can offer you
The salary range for the role starts at £25,627 per annum. Further benefits include the opportunity to join the University’s pension scheme, 20 days annual leave (in addition to 8 bank holidays and 6 closure days) and access to a number of University employer discount schemes. To arrange an informal discussion about the role, please contact Donna Ferrand, Student Events and Communities Lead (Graduation), via firstname.lastname@example.org
