Applications are invited for the post of Library Manager at the UCL School of Pharmacy Library. Primarily serving the staff and students of the UCL School of Pharmacy, this library specialises in the core pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacognosy and pharmacology, but also covers the wider biomedical spectrum.
The post holder is responsible for day-to-day oversight of the library’s facilities, resources, services and archive, to support teaching, learning and research, both physically and virtually. The post holder also deputises for the Senior Librarian in their absence.
This post is an on-campus role and is not suitable for regular remote working.
With a recognized qualification in Librarianship or Information Studies the successful candidate will have experience of successfully planning and delivering services in a health or university library. An excellent communicator, with the ability to lead and motivate a team and to actively promote services, they will have a knowledge of information resources in biomedicine and health, experience of planning and delivering information skills training and experience of managing collections.
