Working as part of the Assessments Team you will provide an excellent standard of customer service and assist with the smooth operations of the department ensuring effective and high quality administration of assessments is provided.

Assessments Officer - Apprenticeships Role

Main function of the Job:

  • Access and download data relating to weekly submissions of Apprentices on Elite and keep up to date information relating to progress on the modules
  • Co-ordinate links and staffing of live tutor sessions with input from the ULaw Online campus.
  • Co-ordinate timetabling for face to face delivery of the graduate apprenticeship.
  • Deal with assessments and follow relevant procedures to ensure timely return of results and feedback.
  • Working as part of the Student Support team providing first class administrative support to apprentices and firms.Dealing with enquiries from clients, visitors and staff ensuring accurate professional responses at all times in keeping with the corporate image of The University ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Day to day operation and maintenance of records in Pebblepad system.
  • To understand the entry requirements and policies and procedures of the University and administer the policies in order to advise staff and apprentices accordingly
  • Support the Programme & Student Leads with the organisation of induction days and other course-related events.
  • Follow University procedures when verifying student eligibility and refer to the Eligibility Manager where appropriate.
  • Undertake a wide range of general course administrative duties.
  • Support Apprenticeship students requesting to transfer, withdraw or take a break from their studies and action all requests in accordance with ULaw policies and procedures.
  • To promote and sustain a constructive, supportive and friendly working relationship with all clients, external and internal, immediate and senior management and other work colleagues
