We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Second Chef to work in the Retail section of Catering Services which is based on the award-winning University Park Campus. As the Senior Chef within the area, you will be responsible for all food preparation and production, stock control and food hygiene practices. You also will also ensure a high quality and consistent product is delivered to our customers at all times. You will be a positive contributor to future menu ideas and enjoy being part of a motivated and positive team.

Candidates should be qualified to 706 1/ 2 or NVQ 1/2 in Food Production, or have substantial relevant experience gained within a similar large scale catering environment. You will also have excellent cooking skills and considerable supervisory experience. Knowledge of a range of Microsoft Office products and experience of stock management is also essential for this role.

Hours of work are 36.25 per week, worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (Mainly Monday to Friday between 7.00am and 5.00pm). Job share arrangements may be considered for this post.
