We are seeking to appoint an experienced lecturer in medical education as part of the ongoing development and implementation of our new Master of Physician Associate Studies programme. This is an exciting time to join the Physician Associate team as we prepare to take our third cohort of students on the new professional masters programme and support our existing students toward success on the current Masters in Physician Associates and National Examinations.

The post holders will work closely with the Director of Physician Associate Studies and the Programme Leader and the wider programme team to help co-ordinate and deliver a wide range of medical topics and clinical skills to postgraduate Physician Associates Students. The post holder will be an experienced medical educationalist and may come from a variety of professional clinical backgrounds such as doctor or Physician Associate.
You will join a truly innovative team in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences with a suite of fully integrated undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and excellence in research with a focus on training for improving health outcomes. You will be an experienced and enthusiastic teacher and take a proactive role in developing new learning materials alongside our highly experienced and supportive team. We use a range of innovative pedagogical methods including Team-based Learning.
The post holder will also have the opportunity to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students undertaking research work and to participate in research activities in the School. Starting salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
