The Post

The post holder will have the responsibility for managing the TNE partnerships across the University, maintaining an up-to-date database of all international partnerships, and providing a professional service to colleagues within the Directorate, the wider University and key external stakeholders, to deliver its ambitious internationalisation agenda. The post-holder will report to the Head of Partnerships and will line manage the International Partnership Administration team.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated with sound interpersonal, communication and team working skills, considerable experience within an international HE context, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Description of Duties

The TNE Partnerships Manager will:

  • Support the Executive Director in developing a strategic approach to delivering a professional service across the institution to ensure the implementation of the University’s ambitious internationalisation agenda
  • Be expected to develop and maintain effective working partnerships with key internal stakeholder, including the Faculties, Academic Quality and Governance(AQG) function
  • Demonstrate proactive drive and actively contribute to fostering a CAFÉ (creative, aspiring, flexible and engaging) culture within the Directorate and within the wider university

Essential Criteria

  • An honours degree
  • Extensive experience working in an HE environment with an international outlook
  • Working knowledge of the UK National Qualification Framework and QAA Quality Code
  • Excellent team working, inter-personal and creative problem-solving skills, with a friendly and positive ‘can do’ attitude
