The Department of Chemistry has a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Coordinator (Undergraduate Provision) to join our excellent team and help us create a vibrant student experience.
This exciting new position will provide direct support to the UG Programme Administrative Officer in the coordination and delivery of the undergraduate provision.
The post holder will be responsible for providing administration to the day-to-day operation of undergraduate modules. This will include overseeing the submission of student work, maintenance of online student records, arranging exam boards, and participating in applicant open days. They will be the first point of contact for both current and prospective undergraduate students and will be responsible for providing advice, information and support to them.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education ('A' Level or equivalent) and will have experience of working as part of a team in a busy customer focused administrative environment. Excellent communication and organisation skills coupled with the ability to pay attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of administrative processes. Experience of working in a student-facing role within Higher Education would be advantageous.
