This interesting and exciting new role is based in the Faculty of Life Sciences, where you will work closely with senior academic leaders and colleagues in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, to identify the primary causes of attainment and progression issues in undergraduate students with a focus on Science related topics.
Once identified, you will then work with colleagues to investigate, develop and plan targeted interventions for individuals as well as small groups of students. These plans will then form part of a suite of targeted interventions, that you will help to deliver, with the aim of improving student success and improving progression and retention rates in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences.
You will work closely with University Services such as the Academic Skills and Language Centre to maximise student access to and utilisation of these services to help support their learning.

This full-time role is fixed term for three years in the first instance.
Based in the Dean's Office, you will work under the guidance of the Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching, alongside the Student Attainment and Progression Manager as well as Programme and Module Leaders in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences to help our students achieve their potential.
