The Bartlett School of Architecture is part of UCL's Faculty of the Built Environment and is a centre for research and teaching of architecture and related built environment courses, including professionally accredited programmes. Within the School of Architecture, the Professional Studies team focus on the development and delivery of programmes of study including the Year Out in Architecture, Stage 2 Professional Experience, and ARB/RIBA Part 3 through to supporting candidates sitting for their final professional qualification whilst they are employed in an architectural practice. The Part 3 Lecture Programme is a Part time course, with lectures that run in the evening. 

The role holder is to be responsible for the administration of the Professional Studies programmes including the provision of support to academic/teaching staff and candidates throughout their entire duration on the course. The role holder will ensure that effective practices are adopted for dealing with all aspects including, out of hours support, marketing, enquiries, applications, procedural adherence, Unit submissions and examinations. The role holder will work with other members of the administration team to actively engage in and implement continuous improvement of courses/programmes.

This rewarding and challenging role requires a high level of administrative, interpersonal, and office-based computer skills with the ability to take initiative and make recommendations to both academic and administrative staff. The role holder must have the capacity to perform as part of a strong departmental team in a university environment undergoing continual change and evolution.

The role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook is essential.
