Job Description

This new post of Senior Learning Designer will lead on developing and implementing a pedagogical strategy for the blended learning and executive education portfolio.  In addition, you will lead the learning design for a series of new flagship executive education programmes, working with the academic community across King’s.  
You will be responsible for supporting senior colleagues in faculties with the recruitment, training and mentoring of their learning designers, as well as the gradual accumulation of direct line reports within King’s Online. 
Reporting to the Head of Portfolio & Learning Design, you will work alongside the Learning Design Manager and Senior Learning Designer for Refreshes and CPD, as part of a team of 12 learning designers.  Equally, you will foster close links with the King’s Professional & Executive Development unit, leading design discussions with public & private sector clients, and contributing to high profile bids and tenders. 
In a busy and collaborate environment, you will have the vision to help shape a pioneering new portfolio, playing a critical role in shaping blended and executive education at King’s. 
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract
