The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University (based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) provides over 100 study abroad programs in 10 countries to students from over 300 institutions of higher learning in the United States.  Currently, the University is ranked #1 in the USA for the number of students that study abroad through its short-term, summer, semester and full-year programs.  With over 30 programs offered at UK universities, in addition to its London Centre, the College of Global Studies offers a diverse range of study abroad options, including first year programming, internships, and undergraduate research opportunities. Arcadia's London Centre is based in Bloomsbury where classes, academic programs, student life services and other forms of comprehensive support are offered to participating students.

Job Outline

The College of Global Studies is now seeking to appoint someone to the role of University Relationships Manager in England and Wales. This crucial role based in Arcadia’s London Center will maintain and develop the links between Arcadia and our partner institutions in England and Wales, working to support students studying with Arcadia at partner campuses. The postholder will be expected to liaise with staff within institutions at a senior level and to that end with staff on the main campus at Arcadia University in the USA.  It is expected that the postholder will dedicate a substantial amount of time for in person liaison with staff and students on campus at partner institutions in England & Wales


  • Applicants should have the right to work in the United Kingdom and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, experience, skills and attributes.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience of working in Higher Education
  • Strong administrative experience and organisational skills; the ability to plan and prioritise.


  • Experience working with US StudyAbroad students
  • Knowledge of US higher education system
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Google Suite and Canvas

The post will require the candidate to fulfill occasional on-call duties as part of a staff rota as well as participating in occasional out of hours activities in the evenings and weekends.
