Are you a skilled clinical healthcare professional with teaching experience, looking for your next opportunity?
We are looking for a part-time Clinical Skills Tutors to support the delivery of all aspects of clinical skills including physical examination, procedural skills and communication skills to years one to five of a five year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree
The post will include delivery of predesigned sessions following the BMBS time table to medical students. You will work with other Clinical Skills Tutors to ensure an efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes.

You will possess sufficient breadth or depth of specialist and core knowledge in clinical skills, demonstrated by registration with GMC/NMC or equivalent in health care, to develop teaching programmes, teach and support learning in clinical skills. You will use a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students.
You will have evidence of excellent teaching identified by peer review and courses. Ideally you would maintain a clinical post in addition to this teaching post, keeping you as current as possible with the changing nature of healthcare and clinical procedures, but this is not mandatory. Staff at this level may wish to work towards Fellow of the HEA status and to attend formal CPD relating to this.
