Supporting to provide smooth and efficient service delivery

The Resourcing Administrator will assist the Resource Planning team with general day to day administrative support of resourcing for all Business School programmes. You will be responsible for maintaining key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will be required to handle both professional and business information that is of a sensitive and/or confidential nature.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Assisting with the management of the staff holiday and TOIL records on the QV
  • Supporting with staff sickness procedures and ensuring that the relevant processes comply
  • Assisting with freelance administration, including completion and follow-up of freelancer engagement forms and IT request forms
  • Assisting with HR documentation requirements
  • Supporting with IT accounts for new starters and freelancers
  • Assisting with class cover for tutors who are ill or otherwise unavailable
  • Updating resourcing spreadsheets
  • Undertaking timetabling activity for ADAF/MSc Accounting and Finance programmes
  • Providing tutors with the relevant material for teaching each term
  • Supporting with resourcing inbox management, including responding to queries and filing in to the appropriate folder.
  • Assisting with any ad hoc tasks within the resource planning team

What we’re looking for

  • A clear and professional communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Flexible with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of organising, time-management and taking ownership of your workload
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and 365) is essential along with a high level of general digital literacy
  • Able to consistently work to a high degree of accuracy and possess exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
