Full time (35 hours per week), Open-ended contract

The Opportunity:

Applications are invited from scholars with research interests and teaching experience in the inter-disciplinary area of Science and Religion.

The University of Edinburgh is a world leader in this area. There is an urgent need to appoint a Lecturer who has a close familiarity with the natural sciences in dialogue with one or more of the world’s religious traditions, in order to expand our research capacity further, and to support core teaching programmes, such as the University’s MSc in Science and Religion, and (particularly) its online MSc in Philosophy, Science and Religion.

The successful candidate will have outstanding skills in teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and a profile in research, commensurate with the stage of their career
