We are looking for a talented Biomarker Scientist with a background in clinical or biomedical research.
As part of our Innovation team you will be responsible for evaluating candidate image-derived biomarkers for a range of clinical indications using robust medical statistics, and for the design and management of translational research activities with Perspectum’s medical and academic partners. Working closely with the team of biostatisticians and scientists you will perform functions associated with study planning, statistical data analysis, and writing and publishing of clinical research studies.
Day to day your duties will include:
To be successful in this role you will hold a PhD or Master's degree in biomedical sciences and have a strong background in statistical analysis, with experience of a wide variety of analysis techniques. You will be experienced in statistical software, ideally R as well as designing and executing clinical or biomedical research studies to evaluate new diagnostics. Your communication skills both written and verbally will be second to none and you will have ability to work well independently as well as part of a multi disciplinary team. You will have a proven track record in writing peer-reviewed publications.
