We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to make a leading contribution to the CRUK-funded PREDICT-Meso Accelerator Network, working with partners at National Consortium for Intelligent Medical Imaging (NCIMI) and Canon Medical Research Europe. PREDICT-Meso is focused on development of new therapies, infrastructure and tools that can improve outcomes from Mesothelioma.
This post will be particularly focused on the optimisation and validation of an artificial intelligence (AI) tool for automated volumetric quantification of mesothelioma on CT imaging.
The post holder will work under supervision of Prof. Kevin Blyth, Professor of Respiratory Medicine and PREDICT-Meso Principal Investigator (PI) with co-supervision from Canon Medical Research Europe. It is expected that the successful candidate will split their time between UoG and Canon (to be confirmed upon appointment).
This post is full time and has funding for up to 36 months.
