We are looking for a talented and highly motivated scientist to join us for this exciting journey in this fast-paced research environment to support the development of medicines for one of the most pressing healthcare challenges of our time.

Think you have the computational chops to build the world’s first in silico human liver by spatially, temporally, and single-cell sequencing human livers kept alive on machines while we study them?
Or are you a total lab legend, looking to regenerate cirrhotic human livers by reprogramming them with advanced cell-specific combination RNA therapies?
Perhaps you’re a bit of an adrenaline junkie who loves hunting for new technologies and figuring out how to quickly translate them.

Salaries are highly competitive and dependent on experience. We offer unique benefits, such as covering the costs of personal/professional development programmes that enable our team to develop their scientific and soft skills.
We're a hybrid-working team. Remote working is possible for computational scientists. Experimental scientists will be based in our Oxford lab but encouraged to take time out of the lab for research and travel (to bring in new technologies). We will also consider requests for part-time work.
PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Experience of Computational RNA genomics with a strong biological background.
Experience of Cell and Molecular Biology with strong data analysis competencies.
Computational skills such as R, Python, AWS cloud.
Demonstrated capacity to drive multiple and complex projects within defined timelines.
Highly organised and methodical approach to work and record keeping.
Self-motivated, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a diverse team.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing demands within tight deadlines.
