The Royal Marsden NHS Trust

Are you a self-motivated, experienced, professionally registered cancer nurse or allied health professional, and ready to take the next step in your career to ensure patients receive the very best in cancer treatment and care?

We are seeking individuals with energy, creativity, and expertise, to help our students develop as experts and leaders in cancer care.  Experience of and a passion for enabling people to learn is essential, in both practice and academic settings.

We have roles that will afford the successful candidates opportunities to develop an academic career, which combines education, research, and clinical practice in a setting unlike any other academic organisation.

We are driving new models of education delivery while retaining the best of traditional methods and embracing technology to support learning.  This is an opportunity to join us for the next exciting phase of our journey and help us build and shape new programmes that will be fit for future generations of students.

The Royal Marsden has a vital role in championing change and improvement in cancer care through research and innovation, education, and leading-edge practice. We are incredibly proud of our international reputation for pushing the boundaries and for our ground-breaking work ensuring our patients receive the very best and latest in cancer treatment and care.

The School was established at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in 2002. It was created to help share the knowledge and expertise of The Royal Marsden – a role we still carry out today. Unlike any other academic provider, it is firmly embedded within clinical practice. While the core academic team are all highly qualified and experienced educators and clinicians, we also work in collaboration with clinical experts and researchers from across the RM. This unique educational model underpins our exemplary reputation as a leading, commercially viable provider of specialist cancer education to local, national, and international healthcare professionals and commissioners of education.

We would particularly welcome applications from cancer nurses or allied health professionals with a clinical background and expertise in either cancer care and/or advanced clinical practice.
