About the Role

The role is part of the long term expansion and development of high quality clinical legal education within the Law School. The role will have senior administrative responsibilities within the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre as well as being a central position in the day to day running of the Centre (including working with students, volunteer lawyers, and clients).

About You

You will have experience of working in a student law clinic and knowledge of the clinical legal education and pro bono sector. You will need experience of managing a team, project management, and managing relationships with a range of external stakeholders. Experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project

The Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre provides free legal advice to members of the public and staff and students at Queen Mary University of London. Its two key aims are to enhance the education of our students and promote access to justice in the community. The Centre has 7 members of staff. This role manages two members of staff in the Centre (the Projects Coordinator and the Client Services Coordinator) who in turn manage three QMLAC Administrators.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time, permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,084 - £44,807 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
