The School of Creative Arts, at the University of Hertfordshire are looking for new Visiting Lecturers to work within our Short Course provision. The relevant person should be enthusiastic with a can do attitude and have their own professional practice.  Tutors will bring a strong understanding of their discipline and be able to design and develop teaching and learning materials appropriate to the required standard.

The Creative Ideas Office is looking for expressions of interest from candidates who would like to add a new course in the Visual Arts, Design or Media areas to add to our online and on campus portfolio from the School or beyond to deliver our courses.

We are looking for tutors for courses in:

  • Adobe InDesign

This position is part time – an indicative timetable is as follows; Monday to Saturday from 09.30 to 16.30 or Monday - Thursday Evening from 19.00 to 21.30

Short-course tutors are paid per hour of delivery.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Under-Graduate degree and or Post-Graduate degree or equivalent is desirable
  • Practical teaching experience is essential.
  • Tutors are required to have technical experience at a high level to join our Short Course team.
