Applicants are invited for a full-time permanent Lecturer in Social Work – Professional Practice to join our highly committed team of social work academics within the School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences. You will contribute to our BA and MA Social Work programmes with key responsibility to support practice placements. Previous experience of practice education/ practice learning and an understanding of developments in social work practice education would be advantageous. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to support the coordination and management of social work placements as well as contribute to teaching and administration duties. You will have a strong commitment to continuing professional development and to inter-professional and international social work perspectives.

The successful candidate will be expected to make a positive contribution to the development of partnership working within the region.

You will be registered with Social Work England and have recent CPD and teaching/training experience or evidence of coaching, mentoring and assessing others.
