The Peninsula Medical School is seeking an outstanding teaching-focussed 3 year fixed-term 0.5FTE Lecturer in Clinical Education (Biomedical Sciences) to join our existing team. We will consider applicants from a range of biomedical disciplines or equivalent clinical specialties.
The Faculty of Health works in close partnership with University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, and with a variety of community-based clinical partners. This vibrant environment ensures that our students receive an excellent, contemporary learning experiences, with early clinical immersion opportunities. Our programmes provide our students with all the skills, knowledge, attributes and support they need to become outstanding future clinicians.
Working within a multidisciplinary team of core education-focussed academic staff, you will contribute to the delivery and development our clinical programmes, including: undergraduate Medicine, Diagnostic Radiography BSc and Physician Associate Studies MSc. Educational roles will include Enquiry-Based Learning facilitator, interactive large group delivery, innovative curriculum development, academic tutoring, and Student-Selected Unit delivery. You would join an active and friendly team of educational scholars, pedagogical and biomedical researchers and would be expected to be research-active (medical education or biomedical science).

This is a part-time position working 18.5 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for a period of 3 years due to business demand. The start date will be from January 2022 (or as soon as possible thereafter).
