Over the last four years, ULMS has engaged in extensive recruitment of academic and professional services staff, expanding into a state-of- the-art extension, including a trading room. The School now has over 220 academic staff supported by 80 professional services colleagues. Echoing the City of Liverpool’s reputation for friendliness and an outward looking orientation, ULMS provides a strongly collegial, international and intellectually vibrant interdisciplinary environment, including a thriving doctoral research community of over 140 PhD students.

Under the leadership of Professor Robert Blackburn, the new Brett Centre for Entrepreneurship is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship on a Teaching and Scholarship (T&S) Track. The Centre is looking for an individual with well-developed scholarship in the area of entrepreneurship and / or entrepreneurial education, and who is an inspiring teacher and pedagogical leader. The successful candidate will develop and lead modules in Entrepreneurship education across the University as well as in the Management School. Working with colleagues the successful applicant will provide support and mentoring for student entrepreneurship and enterprise activities, contribute to the development of outreach activities outside the University, particularly in the Liverpool City Region, and forge links with other universities and graduate enterprise organisations.

The successful candidate will possess a relevant PhD in Entrepreneurship or a related discipline. The candidate will present a strong track record of teaching Entrepreneurship in the university or private sector, and an established track-record in scholarship related to entrepreneurship and enterprise, with clear plans for future scholarship. The Candidate will also be expected to demonstrate an experience of and ability to build relationships with external partners. The Brett Centre seeks excellence in all aspects of student experience and looks for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary Entrepreneurship modules.
