Reporting to: Research Manager - Pre-Award and Post-Award (Interim)
The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day financial management of a portfolio of research grants and contracts. The role holder will be expected to work closely with the Research Manager, in order to assist with the development and implementation of improved management systems and processes to help grow the capacity for Goldsmiths to win and manage the research income portfolio. The post holder will provide expert advice and support at the highest standards of service to academic and professional staff across the University. We are seeking a motivated professional, with an established track record of working in a research environment with financial experience of managing external research grants and contracts. Flexible and versatile, the post holder will have proven financial, communication and collaboration skills, in addition to an excellent understanding of the UK funding landscape and its financial processes and requirements.
