The group of Electrical Power in the School of Engineering, Newcastle University, is working on a range of research projects. We are seeking Research Assistants and Research Associates to work on future energy systems. There are a range of projects in the group, which could enable you to contribute to: modelling of power networks, particularly in the context of flexible assets such as heat pumps and electric vehicles; modelling of whole energy system scenarios and their implications for policy; modelling building energy demand, considering renewable and flexible assets; modelling energy transitions and scenarios.
