Leuphana University of Lüneburg stands for innovation in research and education. Methodological diversity, interdisciplinary collaboration, transdisciplinary cooperation with partners outside academia and a dynamic development characterise its research profile in the fields of education, culture, management and entrepreneurship as well as sustainability. Its award-winning study model is organised into the Leuphana College, the Leuphana Graduate School and the Leuphana Professional School.
In April 2022, Leuphana University Lüneburg establishes the Leuphana School of Public Affairs. The three participating disciplines economics, law and political science aim to create a unique profile on public affairs issues that is new in Germany. With a total of 26 professors pursuing an interdisciplinary approach the school develops the research and study of public affairs with high visibility and academic recognition. The research profile of the school addresses the major transformations of our time and further develops its existing research foci on the future of democracy, evidence-based political decision-making and law in the context of societal transformation. The Leuphana School of Public Affairs will host three Major and four Minor study programmes at the Leuphana College, three master programmes and three doctoral research groups at the Leuphana Graduate School as well as five continuing education master‘s programmes at the Leuphana Professional School.
