Student Living provides integrated residential and accommodation services on and off campus to one of the largest Campus based Universities in London. We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Student Living. Reporting to the Head of Student Living, this role will lead all operational functions focusing on our Student Experience at the highest level, through a team of Managers, who have accountability and responsibility for the day-to-day operational service delivery.

We are looking for an experienced professional who will evidence their experience of leading and managing people activities to provide high quality, agile, student and customer focused services. Student Living is a large and diverse service that supports staff and students across their academic life cycle with the addition of summer conference business. As a member of the Student Living team, you will be leading these services and contributing to improve and enhance our student service performance. You will be able to demonstrate your influencing skills at all levels.

Being part of the Student Living family, your responsibilities will strengthen and further develop our culture of professionalism, performance excellence and autonomy within the service teams, supporting direct reports to develop their leadership skills and their profile across the University. You will support the Head of Student Living with designated operational and strategic responsibilities. These will include effective management activities such as budgetary planning and delivery, value for money excellence within a wide range of hard and soft services, strategic vision for student recruitment and retention and Health & Safety compliance. You will be building strong working relationships with major stakeholders across the University and with external partners to deliver value for money and an outstanding student experience that meets expectation for now and the future.

As a key member of the Student Living Leadership team, we will ensure you have significant opportunities to develop your leadership skills and opportunities whilst we shape the service delivery of key services in a future-focused Student Living team that is committed to providing and outstanding experience to all our students.
