About the role:

The School of Psychology and Sport Science is a leading provider of quality education in Psychology, Sport Science, and Vision and Hearing Sciences education in the UK and has been at the forefront in the development of innovative courses in these areas.

We are recruiting a psychologist with expertise in Applied Positive Psychology to join our team. The prospective candidates will have the opportunity to support and lead in the development of our MSc Applied Positive Psychology and other Psychology courses, and opportunities to develop their research in applied and positive psychology.

With a degree or relevant professional qualification and extensive post qualification CPD (for Practitioner), you will have the opportunity to support and lead in the development of our range of courses in Psychology, with a particular focus on our MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. Senior Lecturers must possess a degree and a PhD in a relevant discipline, and you will have experience of teaching in a higher education setting. You will have the opportunity to support and lead in the development of our range of courses in Psychology, with a particular focus on our MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. You will also demonstrate the ability and desire to contribute to the School’s research and associated scholarly & consulting activities.

Please note that this post is advertised as either a Senior Lecturer Practitioner or as a Senior Lecturer. A maximum of 1 appointment will be made following the recruitment round. Up to 0.8 FTE is available for this appointment.
