Our Pre-sessional courses are aimed primarily at UCL postgraduate conditional offer-holders going onto a range of different disciplines. The programme is intended to equip students with the English language proficiency and academic skills and attributes that they need to be successful in their follow-on degree. You can find more information about the programme on our https:////www.ucl.ac.uk/languages-international-education/preparation-courses/pre-sessional-english-courses website.

Associate Lecturers provide 21 contact hours per week, which includes face-to-face teaching and online tutorials. They deliver lessons that provide high quality instruction and develop students’ academic language, skills and autonomy to the level required for their future degree programmes. Associate Lecturers also develop students’ potential to contribute effectively to their chosen academic community through tutorials and online engagement.
