The Opportunity: Reporting to our Head of Quality, we are looking for a Senior Quality Officer to join our highly skilled and supportive Quality Team. Working in a fast-paced environment, this newly created post presents an exciting opportunity for the post holder to lead on the development and implementation of our quality systems and processes relating to the delivery of our Degree Apprenticeship programmes.
The Senior Quality Officer will provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders and will work closely with colleagues involved in the delivery of Degree Apprenticeships to ensure quality standards are maintained in readiness for future Ofsted Inspections. You’ll manage procedures relating to continuous/annual monitoring, new programme validation and periodic reviews and will contribute to the development of University policy.
About You: You’ll have a successful track record of working within a HE or FE environment and will have a comprehensive understanding of the quality function and relevant procedures and regulation. You’ll ideally have experience of working with Degree Apprenticeships provision, a good understanding of the requirements of Ofsted and will have an awareness of developments in the external professional environment relating to the role.
With a flexible approach and positive attitude to problem solving, you’ll have excellent attention to detail, will be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll have exceptional report writing skills and the ability to work accurately to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressured environment.
