About the role
We are looking for a talented individual to join Kantar Public UK’s Behavioural Practice. Your responsibilities will include leading and contributing to the design of experimental work; specifying and conducting analyses; helping to produce research outputs and proposals; contributing to new business activities; and helping to develop a talented and expanding team.
Kantar Public is one of the leading social research agencies in the UK. The Behavioural Practice brings together varied expertise – including behavioural economics and cognitive and social psychology; qualitative and quantitative research methods; data analytics; and interventions design – to deliver a full-service behavioural offer to UK Government. The Practice takes on a wide range of projects for clients across Government and the wider public sector, tackling issues from environmental behaviours to adult skills to modern slavery. We advise clients on the opportunities for behaviour change at all stages in the policy cycle; provide insight into what influences individual and organisational behaviours; design interventions and strategies for driving change; and trial and evaluate interventions.
The successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of statistics and programming of analysis in R; and enthusiasm, ability and willingness to apply their skills to new methods. You will either be familiar with or ready to learn multi-level modelling and power analyses/simulations for experiments. You will need to be confident in writing up methods for proposals, protocols and reports; making strong contributions to design discussions; and handling multiple demands and working to tight deadlines. In addition, we want you to lead by example, working with colleagues with a wide variety of skills and helping us to continue to grow a fantastic team.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
In essence, we want someone with a desire to do fantastic work which has real impact for Government and society; who has a flair for creative research design and analysis; who thrives on variety and challenge; and who is excited about the idea of helping to develop a growing offer and a great team. We are open to applications from people with varying levels of experience, with the above as a minimum. Salary dependent on level.
Please apply by sending a CV and cover letter. Review of applications starts on 31 January 2022.
