The Directorate of External Relations aims to enhance the reputation of the University through effective engagement with a wide range of stakeholders and thus support income generation. It includes student recruitment and admissions, marketing, corporate communications, alumni and development, web services, creative services and events and public engagement.
We are recruiting an experienced and self-motivated team player to join us as Operations Officer (Data) in the Operations Team in External Relations. This is an excellent opportunity to use your knowledge and experience of data systems and supporting business processes to provide operational support of the University’s Student Management System (SMS) through all stages of the applicant journey.
You will be joining a small, professional team, playing a key role in supporting data and communication processes for the recruitment and admission of students to the University. You will also work closely with UoD IT to further enhance the features and functionality of the SMS and related business processes.
External Relations has a strong customer-oriented focus, and relies on data systems and business-driven technical solutions to provide business intelligence, market edge and to enable day to day processing. Key software systems used are Tribal SITS Student Management System (SMS), Cognos reporting tools and Microsoft PowerBI.
