Lancaster University seeks an ambitious, highly motivated person to lead the University’s Engagement Fundraising, encompassing management of the annual fund, along with aspects of community and student fundraising, and wider support for colleagues in the Division of Philanthropy, Alumni and Supporter Engagement.
Target driven, motivated by successful income generation and keen to boost support for Lancaster’s talented student community and world leading research, you will grow our Friends Programme and related fundraising priorities.
Based primarily at our Bailrigg campus, you will have frequent contact with donors, volunteers, alumni, colleagues and students. The role calls for an innovative self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
Your portfolio will be broad, including support for student fundraising on behalf of the University, community fundraising for key projects like Defying Dementia and the Sanctuary Fellowship, and securing memorial gifts. Tasks include online communications, data management, event management, the production and delivery of training materials and volunteer liaison.
This is a full-time post offering the potential for blended working.
