Background

INTO City, University of London prepares international students for undergraduate and postgraduate study at City. By providing students with information and advice; organising student engagement activities and events; and overseeing delivery of a number of business processes, the INTO City Progression Office supports INTO City students in making a successful progression into City, University of London.

Although a City member of staff the post holder will be based at the INTO City Centre (102 Middlesex St, London, E1).

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver activities to support INTO City students in feeling part of the City community.

Facilitate access and engagement of INTO City students with City’s services.

Support INTO City students in identifying appropriate choice of study options at City.

Deliver business processes in relation to the progression of students into City.

Assist with the arrival and induction of new students at INTO City.

Support work to help INTO City staff feel a sense of affiliation and familiarity with City.

Person Specification

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a role that is both student-facing and involves managing administrative processes. We are looking for an individual that is organised, can work on their own and part of the team and has a customer focused approach to service delivery. They would possess the ability to communicate and work effectively with people from a range of background and the use their initiative and creativity to implement new ideas.
