The University of Portsmouth is an ambitious institution with a track record of success. One of only four universities in the south east of England to achieve a Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework and ranked in the top 150 in the Times Higher Young University World Rankings.
The University of Portsmouth and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU) are committed to working together as strategic partners to combine and enhance clinical and academic excellence to improve health and wellbeing in Portsmouth, across the UK and internationally. The Strategic Partnership Manager is a full time, three-year fixed term, jointly funded post that will be administered through the University.
The Partnership Manager will be expected to be the key point of contact for the Partnership, shaping, promoting, delivering and monitoring existing programmes and activities; as well as identifying, encouraging and supporting the joint development of new activities and initiatives leading to strong growth in research, innovation and education across both institutions.
This is a very exciting time to join the team as the Trust has recently been awarded University Hospital status and this post has a pivotal role in delivering the ambitions the partners share. To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in large and complex organisations, be able to develop and implement strategy, spot development opportunities and ensure successful translation of these into tangible projects that deliver their outputs and outcomes.
Informal enquires can be obtained from Professor Gordon Blunn firstname.lastname@example.org.
The University of Portsmouth believes this role is eligible for sponsorship with UKVI under the Skilled Worker Route visa, and meets the minimum salary requirements to obtain the minimum points requirement.
