This role is based the Student & Academic Services Directorate. S&AS provides professional leadership for activities that support the student journey. The responsibilities of the Student Records Team include registration, graduation, changes to students’ records, Student Loans Company (SLC) reporting and external Reference Requests. This is a new role within the team and has been created to ensure there is senior support for the Student Records Manager, in particular within the areas of graduation and registration, two key events in the student journey.
The post-holder will support the Student Records Manager in all aspects of Student Records management and will take specific responsibility for student registration and the student-side of graduation. These high profile events take place throughout the year and will require liaison with staff across schools and other professional services as well as being a main contact for students and graduates.
We are looking for someone who has student records management experience and is a great communicator. They will be confident in dealing with large volumes of data and will have a customer-focused approach to their work, ensuring our students and graduates receive informative, timely and accurate information. They will not be phased by tight deadlines and will need to juggle a diverse workload. They will need to be able to take responsibility and use their initiative.
