Are you a talented and pro-active individual, with initiative and flexibility, who can contribute to the work of our Admissions Service?
We are looking to appoint a Deputy Team Leader (Admissions) to help the Team Leader and Head of Admissions, Student Records and Enrolment supervise and organise the day-to-day activities of one of our Admissions Teams based in the AskHutton Hub. The AskHutton Hub is one of 3 hubs for many of the activities and services that make our student experience as smooth as possible.
Main Duties and responsibilities
You will assist the Team Leader in the implementation and administration of University Admissions Policies and Procedures, in the confidential processing of applications. You will be making initial and confirmation offer decisions, and to provide advice to Admissions Administrators on offer decisions.
You will assist in the supervision of Admissions Administrators and Casuals and deputise for the Team Leader as required.
Experience and Skills required
For this busy and challenging role, you will have excellent organisational and IT skills. Proven experience of administrative work, preferably in a Higher Education environment, is essential. You will also be a good communicator, have an eye for detail and will be committed to providing a high-quality service.
Supervisory experience would be an advantage as would having ensured policies are correctly applied and operated in a consistently efficient way.
A-levels (or equivalent qualifications), or proven experience.
