This is a part time (0.4 FTE), fixed term appointment starting 1 March 2022 for 9 months. The start date is flexible but an earlier start is preferable.
We are looking to recruit a research assistant to work on an exciting project looking at the psychological impacts of working with child sexual abuse material on content moderators. The post is funded by the Technology Coalition and will be located at the Hendon Campus of Middlesex University London.
The candidate will have a MSc or higher in Psychology or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have experience of interviewing people about sensitive topics as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis experience. The primary role of the post holder will be to assist with interviewing participants, survey development and help develop an online intervention. The post holder will also analyse data and interpret and present the findings of research projects in written reports, blogs and articles as required. You will be reliable, enthusiastic, be able to demonstrate attention to detail and be and good communicator. Excellent computer literacy and team-work skills are necessary.
The post holder must be able to work part-time at 0.4 FTE, although, working hours may be flexible. Desirable skills include experience with NVivo and SPSS.
