We are looking to appoint a permanent Occupational Health Advisor/Advisors. We are open to applications for either full-time or part-time work.
What you will be doing
We are seeking an Occupational Health Adviser (OHA) to join our expert team. You will provide exceptional OH advice and guidance, supporting managers and staff at both our Exeter and Cornwall campuses. We are seeking an OHA who will thrive in the diversity of university life and enjoy working with employees from varied roles and professional backgrounds, and who will assist us to support our university aim to provide a positive, inclusive and safe working environment for all employees.
The main elements of this role include: supporting new starters, case management, workplace assessment, health surveillance, and advising on health and wellbeing and staff health policy and procedure. In addition, we welcome applications from those with experience in organisation-wide staff wellbeing initiatives.
Applicants must be a Registered General Nurse having a degree level (or equivalent) post registration qualification in Occupational Health (currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Parts 1 & 3 (SCPHN OH)). We are a nurse led service with regular clinical support from our appointed Occupational Physician.
