Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
The purpose of this role is to assist in the day to day running of the Human Resources taking a lead role on the HR MIS issues, including maintaining and enhancing the day-to-day functionalities of the HR System and leading on the HESA staff return. The role also provides support on recruitment and Employee Relations issues such as discipline, grievance and absence management including undertaking investigations. Reporting to one of the Senior HR Advisers, this role works closely with the HR Adviser (Recruitment) to achieve its priorities.
The successful candidate will need to be CIPD qualified or degree educated, have proven good verbal and written communication skills and previous experience of using/maintaining HR systems and using the system to extract management information.
