ABOUT THE POST
An opportunity has arisen within the School of Human Sciences for an experienced academic to lead the Sports Science and Therapy programmes at London Met. You will have a degree in either Sports and Exercise Science or Sports Therapy or Sports Physiotherapy or a related subject and ideally a PhD within the Sports discipline, being accredited with either BASES or SST or registered with the HCPC.
You will also contributing to the delivery of our degree programmes through teaching, utilising the principles of our Education for Social Justice framework and by providing leadership in pedagogy.
You will have skills and expertise within research and be able to contribute to the University’s strategic aims in growing its research and impact as well as supporting others within your discipline to do the same.
You will work collaboratively through teaching and research within the Institution, our School, and the Health Sciences group, fostering its values and supporting strong academic outcomes.
Maintenance and further development of professional skills and expertise will be encouraged and supported.
