This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join The University of Buckingham. This role will be part of our small team so you will need to be a strong team player as well as someone who can work independently, using your own initiative is essential.
Reporting into the Director of Human Resources, you’ll be providing effective day-to-day administration and support to colleagues and line managers, alongside responding to first line queries and managing the HR Admin inbox. You’ll maintain up to date and accurate records in our HR system, and administer the correct paperwork relating to contractual changes and new starters along with other administrative tasks that form part of the employment relationship.
You’ll need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be communicating with colleagues of all levels across the University, and be confident in using Microsoft Office packages as you’ll be using these daily. You’ll also need to have proven experience of working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven office experience in a busy multi-tasking environment, with many deadlines and deliverables, as well as experience of working in a customer facing environment or a busy service orientated team would be desirable.
