We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive marketing professional, to work in conjunction with the Faculty recruitment teams, alongside wider directorate colleagues, to help meet ambitious recruitment targets and to raise the profile of the Faculty and its achievements to all stakeholder groups.

The successful candidate will operate as a Marketing and Recruitment Support Administrator within the marketing team, and will work across all four schools in the faculty – the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, the School of Management, the School of Social Sciences and the School of Culture and Communication.

The main duties of the holder of this position will be:

  1. Support the Marketing Manager and/or Officers through implementation of marketing activities associated with the marketing plan in the area you work.
  2. Take responsibility for the correct use of brand and sub-brand guidelines for the University.
  3. Identify marketing opportunities and activities to advance your area/market.
  4. Work on targeted marketing campaigns identified for external and internal audiences.
  5. Produce marketing collateral, for example, promotional materials, online microsites, events, video production, video editing, and social media campaigns to support recruitment activities.
  6. Work closely with colleagues skilled in digital marketing to deliver the website in your area using digital and social media marketing campaigns to ensure an integrated approach.
  7. Undertake marketing administration (finance, travel, hospitality) as necessary.
  8. Support the evaluation of marketing activity and provide appropriate statistical information.
  9. Maintain up to date files both digital and hard copy as appropriate for the area.
  10. Ensure a bilingual approach to all marketing activity.

Candidates will to provide evidence that they meet the following criteria:

Essential:

  1. Demonstrable evidence of taking pride in delivering professional services and solutions
  2. Educated to A-level standard with relevant work experience
  3. Experience in supporting the delivery of integrated marketing plans
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills to include the creation and delivery of publications and presentations, online content and marketing activity
  5. Excellent Digital and IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
  6. Highly self-driven with strong organisational skills, responsible and keen to improve with training opportunities
  7. Ability to work under pressure retaining exceptional attention to detail, multi-task and meet deadlines
