Your priorities will include:
The successful candidate will lead strategic and operational planning activities and be responsible for enhancing the University of Dundee’s capacity to analyse and interpret external and internal information, including for the University Strategy to 2027. Responsible for driving the University’s annual planning cycle, the appointee will take a lead role in the analysis, presentation and interpretation of management information, performance indicators and benchmark data, as well as overseeing the University’s HESA submissions and approaches to national and international league tables. They also will contribute high level policy advice and horizon scanning for the production of the University’s Outcome Agreement with the Scottish Funding Council and associated returns.

Candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and management qualities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, significant experience of delivering substantive outcomes related to strategic planning, business intelligence and reporting, and a comprehensive understanding of the current environment in which higher education institutions operate.
