About the Role:
The School of Psychology and Sport Science is a leading provider of quality education in Psychology, Sport Science, Vision and Hearing Sciences education in the UK and has been at the forefront in the development of innovative courses in these areas.
We are recruiting a psychologist with expertise in applied psychology – particularly in the areas of applied health or applied social psychology, with a focus on qualitative research methods. The prospective candidate will have the opportunity to support and contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychology.
Having a PhD or be nearing completing of Professional Doctorate in a relevant discipline, you will have experience of teaching in a higher education setting and relevant student facing experience teaching in applied health or social psychology, or closely related subject. A proven record of research output and Publications and experience in using qualitative research methods are essential. You will also demonstrate the ability and desire to contribute to the School’s research and associated scholarly & consulting activities.
