The Role
Over the last 18 months, we have reimagined the way we deliver our University IT Services, building a world-class IT department responsive to the needs of our global community. We're growing significantly and we've created new opportunities and made changes to how we work. Our people have been at the centre of this change, with a particular focus on development and opportunities to learn new skills.
A successful candidate will have demonstrable hands-on experience supporting Microsoft technologies including:
Experience working with enterprise storage and backup technologies including Veeam and Dell EMC PowerScale is desirable.
You will be responsible for implementing the IT roadmap to ensure systems and services are supported throughout their lifecycle, working closely with the University Cyber Security team to ensure systems and services adhere to Cyber Essentials. On occasion you will be asked to act as the subject matter expert to projects requiring your expertise.
