The School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in data management systems. The successful candidate will contribute to an EPSRC funded project on developing scalable systems for nested data management. The project scope includes both foundational aspects, such as studying transformations of queries over nested data, and practical aspects, such as implementing novel techniques for processing nested data at scale.
The post holder will be working with Dr. Milos Nikolic from the University of Edinburgh and collaborating with Prof. Michael Benedikt from the University of Oxford.
This post is part of the EPSRC grant “QUINTON – Querying and Integrating Over Nested Data” whose goal is to build new foundations for nested data, focusing on both solving core foundational problems of querying nested data and building scalable systems for querying and integrating nested data. For more information about the project, see gow.epsrc.ukri.org/NGBOViewGrant.aspx?GrantRef=EP/T022124/1
