Launched in 2019 in Cairo's New Administrative Capital, the University of Hertfordshire hosted by Global Academic Foundation (UH-GAF) is an international branch campus of the University of Hertfordshire (UH), a fully accredited UK higher education institution. It is rated Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and is quality assured by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in the UK. The School of business at the University of Hertfordshire was short-listed for Best Business School in the UK and is known for its international research excellence. The University's research has been rated 'world leading' and 'internationally excellent' in the UK Government's Research Excellence Framework (REF), and it retains HR Excellence in Research by the European Commission.
Job Description:
The school of Business at the University of Hertfordshire hosted by Global Academic Foundation (UH-GAF) invites applications for a Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor position in one or more of the following areas: Business, computer science, Accounting, and Finance. Applicants should submit: a current curriculum vitae; a statement of teaching philosophy; evidence of teaching effectiveness and the names and contact information of three references. Requirements:
PhD degree or equivalent ideally with a minimum of two years' teaching experience with outstanding student and peer evaluations. Experience with innovative teaching methodologies is preferred. Candidates with active research interests are encouraged to apply.
Additional Information:
Successful applicants are expected to commence employment on September 2022. Screening of applications will begin immediately, and it will continue until the positions are filled. The school will contact selected candidates for an interview upon the first round of screening.
