Psychological Therapist & Mental Health Trainer (105485-0622)

Permanent position, 1.0 FTE (36.5 hours per week).

The University of Warwick is recruiting to an exciting new role for a combined Psychological Therapist and Mental Health Trainer to join our expanding Wellbeing Support Services team.

The role sits within the Counselling and Psychology Interventions Team (CAPIT) alongside the Wellbeing Team and the Disability Team.

The post holder will offer psychological/counselling therapeutic interventions to students (60% of the role) and develop and deliver Mental Health Training for staff across the University (40% of the role).

The post would suit an experienced psychologist/counsellor with experience of and a passion for training.

Key essential requirements:

• Recognised professional postgraduate level qualification in Counselling or Psychology with current accreditation with a professional body (HCPC registration, BACP, UKCP, BPS or equivalent).
• Substantial post qualification experience of professional counselling/psychological practice and demonstrable experience of predominantly brief approaches.
• Skills and experience in developing and delivering training.
